A Letter to My Family xxx

My dear family
Dry your tears today
You know i love you so
It hurts me much to see you cry
Cos my family don't you know
I'll never leave you all alone
Iv'e never left your hearts
God took me by the hand that day
He said we'de never part
He kept his promise to me
I visit you all the time
You are the sweetest family
an angel here could have
If I could write a letter
I'me sure you know I would
To let you know I'm safe from harm
And that heaven is real good
I'm here with many angels
Some that you may know
Those angels send all their love
To all of you below
I know one day we'll meet again
On the day that you come home
Iv'e saved a place for you my loved ones
It's near gods precious throne
I'll wrap my arms around you and
I'll lead you up gods stairs
Till then my lovely family
Carry on and dry those tears
Please do me one big favour
Look after one another
Please take the time to smile and think
That you still have each other.
LOVE FROM David xxx

JUSTICE

A man has been found guilty of the murders of two teenagers near Tandragee nine years ago.

David McIlwaine, 18, and Andrew Robb, 19, were stabbed to death in February 2000.

Both victims sustained multiple stab wounds and had their throats cut.

Convicting Steven Brown, Belfast Crown Court judge Mr Justice Gillen told him he faced being put behind bars for the rest of his natural life as a result of the "heinous" murders.

There were emotional scenes as the judge told Brown that given the evidence against him, he had no doubt he was guilty of killing the two teenage friends.

Steven Leslie Brown, also known as Steven Revels, 28, had denied involvement in the double murders.

He stood in the dock totally impassive and yawned repeatedly as the judge delivered his verdicts.

During the trial, evidence was heard from suspect turned `supergrass` Mark Burcombe, who claimed the two victims called to Brown`s home in Tandragee following a night out looking for a party.

Mr Burcombe claimed Andrew made a disparaging remark about UVF leader Richard Jameson who has been murdered the previous week, which angered Brown and his friend Noel Dillon.

Mr Dillon has since taken his own life.

Mr Burcombe said the teenagers were then driven to a country road on the outskirts of Tandragee in Brown`s car where they were murdered.

Mr Burcombe also claimed that afterwards Brown told him "he had done the stomachs and Noel had done the throats" and that the murders "gave me some buzz".

Following the guilty verdicts Mr Justice Gillen told Brown the only sentence open to him to pass was one of life imprisonment and added that he would decide at a later court hearing what his minimum tariff would be.

Brown will be sentenced on April 3.

There is a beautiful garden,
In a far away land,
Where God and this sweet angel
Walk hand in hand,
How lucky God is
To have such a treasure
Take care of this angel Lord,
Forever and ever xxx
